Astronomy Open Night 2025

Saturday 27 September 2025, 4pm - 10pm

Macquarie University Wallumattagal Campus


Sydney’s most spectacular astronomy event is back again and you’re invited to pull up a front-row seat as we explore the Universe together.  

Prepare to be captivated by the cosmos and embark on an unforgettable journey through the universe.

  • Our Astrophotography competition will be back again this year
  • Lots of activities for young ones and young at heart
  • Short talks program, Macquarie University’s Astronomical Observatory and Telescope Park - just to name a few

Food and drink is available to purchase on the night from the University’s own food court.

Astronomy Open Night will go ahead rain, hail or shine.

No ticket sales available on the night.
