Australasian Development Economics Workshop
This event has concluded.
ADEW is Australia's leading development economics conference, often involving participants from the broader Asia-Pacific region. The workshop is an opportunity for participants to share and discuss ideas, present research, and network with colleagues with similar research interests. National and international speakers will participate in thought-provoking sessions and participation from researchers, policymakers and PhD students is welcome.

About the Department of Economics at Macquarie University
Macquarie University’s department of economics within the Macquarie Business School is recognised as one of the leading research groups bringing together research focusing on Development Economics, Health Economics and Behavioural Economics and policy.
Abdul Latif Jameel Professor of Poverty Alleviation and Development Economics in the Department of Economics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, has been confirmed as an online plenary speaker for this workshop.
Roman Family University Professor of Computational and Behavioural Science, Chicago Booth, has been confirmed as a plenary speaker in person for this workshop.

Call for papers - closed
Full length papers or extended abstracts will need to be submitted to MQBS-ADEW@mq.edu.au by the deadline 31 March 2023. All papers will be peer reviewed and authors will be notified of outcomes by 15 April 2023.
Financial assistance may be available to support a limited number of PhD students who wish to present at the Workshop. If you are applying for financial assistance, please state that during the submission stage.
