Walk, Roll, Run or Rainbow Your Way Across Campus!
Join Macquarie University students, staff and community members for an interactive cross-campus challenge celebrating inclusion and supporting rainbow young people.
Colour the Campus is an interactive cross-campus challenge where participants can walk, run, roll, cartwheel, dance or even moonwalk their way around our beautiful Wallumattagal campus. Along the route, you'll visit five colourful checkpoint stalls featuring engaging activities, wellbeing information, and opportunities to connect with others while learning more about diversity, inclusion and belonging.
How it works
- Checkpoint stalls open 12pm - 3.30pm
- Check in and collect your Stamp Card at any checkpoint from 12.00pm (one per participant)
- Visit all five checkpoints and collect a stamp at each
- Submit your completed card at the final checkpoint to enter the prize draw
- Winners announced 4.00pm at UBAR (before Trivia)
Student BBQ: Free BBQ lunch for registered students, 12pm – 2.30pm.
Official opening: 12.30pm featuring special guests who will speak about the significance of the day, the importance of supporting rainbow communities, and the impact we can make when we stand together in inclusion and belonging.
Prizes and Giveaways: Be among the first 50 students to be registered, check-in and attend the official opening at 12.30pm, to receive free Wear it Purple merchandise.
There will also be:
- Prize draws for participants who complete all checkpoint activities.
- A Best Dressed competition.
- Celebrations and prize announcements at UBAR from 4pm.
