Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research Conference

Learning together across contexts and communities

Friday 22 - Saturday 23 November 2024, 9am – 4pm

Infants and toddlers are capable learners who, when supported, can thrive in a diverse range of contexts and communities. The 4th Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research Conference celebrates the concept of ‘learning together’ in which very young children and significant others, including educators, practitioners, family, peers and community, build new knowledge and understandings together. The conference also offers opportunities to showcase how learning is shaped by the contexts in which it occurs.

The Infants and Toddlers: Practice, Pedagogy and Research Conference provides a place for infant-toddler practitioners, researchers, students and stakeholders to come together over two days to engage in professional dialogue about many aspects of infant-toddler learning and professional practice, including:

Very young children’s learning and thinking within and across different contexts

Inclusion and participation across diverse communities

Practitioner knowledge, perspectives and approaches

Professional / community capacity building and change
