The Symposium will bring together leading experts, researchers, Military personnel, and key stakeholders from Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, and North America to showcase and discuss the latest research and future applications of real-time biomarkers monitoring as it relates to warfighter physical performance monitoring and injury prediction. Biomarkers are no longer restricted to traditional blood, sweat, and saliva, but encompass all data that can describe biological functions including kinetics and kinematics of movement.
Unifying technologies and applications for real-time and continuous biomarker monitoring is considered to be the next step in monitoring Military personnel for physical performance and injury prevention. In particular, the measurement and analysis of ‘in-the-wild’ health and performance data will assist commanders with combat decision making. The MQ Military Biomarker Symposium will allow end-users to provide potential use-case examples of where they see benefits of biomarker application and engage with biomarker / biosensing researchers on technological advancements that have immediate and future applications.
