Terms & Conditions

The fee includes: 

• 2025-2026 InASA membership fees, ie standard membership fee $105 and student/concession membership fee $75. 
• A two-year subscription to the InASA flagship Journal of Australian Studies - eight issues in total.  
• Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea. 
• A catered evening reception on Wednesday 5 February 2025 followed by free admission to the screening of Tiriki Onus and Alec Morgan’s multi-award-winning documentary film Ablaze + Q&A with the director.

MODIFICATIONS TO REGISTRATION 
Should you wish to modify your registration, please refer to the link in your registration confirmation email or submit your request in writing to events@mq.edu.au.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY  
Refund of registration fee  
All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing to events@mq.edu.au.    

Any refund of the registration fee will be subject to the timing of your cancellation: 

•  A cancellation made on or before 29 January 2025 will receive a refund. 
• After 29 January 2025 - No refund will be issued.   
• Non-Attendance - No refund will be issued.    

Extenuating Circumstances  
Depending on the situation, you may be eligible for a refund. Such situations which would be considered include: 

• serious illness   
• death or serious injury of a close family member   
• sudden loss of employment   
• family breakdown   
• impact of crime / accident / natural disasters   

Any request for refund on the grounds of extenuating circumstances must be supported by appropriate evidence and sent to FoA.2025inasa@mq.edu.au. If accepted, refunds will generally be processed within 30 days.  

Note: If this event is cancelled because of insufficient interest or for reasons unrelated to participants, a full refund will be provided.
