Is daylight saving a human health hazard?

Overview

Each year in Australia, many states change the clocks by one hour when we transition to daylight savings time. Whilst some people love it and others hate it, what are the effects on people’s body and health. 

This presentation will explore the health effects of changing time zone artificially without leaving home.


Biography

Professor Nat Marshall is a leading sleep clinical triallist and epidemiologist. His research uses a wide variety of epidemiological research methods and study designs to measure the impact of disease, the effectiveness of treatments and investigate health system activity related to sleep.
